TEACHER TRAINING AND THE USE OF DIGITAL TECHNOLOGIES IN THE CLASSROOM

Resumo: Access to information is available to many, and especially digital natives, who attend our classrooms. And so, the educator of the new century must recognize that it is not enough to have access to information, it is necessary to know what to do with it. Thus, the use of Information and Communication Technologies by teachers in pedagogical practice was analyzed, considering their relations in society and in teaching. For this, it was considered how teachers use digital technologies in the context of the school and their training regarding the use of digital technologies. The data were obtained through research, questionnaires, analysis and reflection of the bibliographic productions that deal with the subject and correlated with data exposed by Cetic. The development of the research enabled an analysis of the training of teachers in relation to ICTs and showed that most of the teachers in question have no training in computer science.

E assim, o educador do novo século deve reconhecer que não basta ter acesso a informação, é preciso saber o que fazer com ela. Dessa forma, analisou-se a utilização das Tecnologias de Informação e Comunicação pelos professores na prática pedagógica, considerando suas relações na sociedade e no ensino. Para isso, considerou-se como os professores utilizam as tecnologias digitais no contexto da escola e suas formações quanto ao uso das tecnologias digitais. Os dados foram obtidos por meio de pesquisa, questionários, análise e reflexão das produções bibliográficas que tratam do tema e correlacionados com dados expostos pelo Cetic.
