Integrated education in Health and interprofessional practice: an experience in graduation

Resumo: | This paper aims to describe the experience of integrated teaching in health in academic practices in a public university in the state of Alagoas. As a way of exemplifying the used strategy by this higher education institution to promote interdisciplinary teaching and formation, as well as the interprofessional practices involved, the article presents an experience report that took place in the years 2017 and 2018, in specific college subjects offered for the courses of: Nursing, Physiotherapy, Speech Therapy and Occupational Therapy. This experience enabled the experience of interprofessional practice in health education and the elaboration of action plans as an intervention proposal – considering the complexities of the communities visited –, besides the knowledge construction in a collectively way. This could reinforce the work in the field of public health, which needs professionals who know how to work in teams and interact with different backgrounds, specialties and specificities. |

Como una forma de ejemplificar la estrategia utilizada por esta institución de educación superior para favorecer la educación y la capacitación interdisciplinarias, así como las prácticas interprofesionales involucradas, el artículo presenta un informe de experiencia que tuvo lugar en 2017 y 2018 en disciplinas específicas ofrecidas para cursos de Enfermería, Fisioterapia, Fonoaudiología y Terapia Ocupacional. Esta experiencia permitió la práctica interprofesional en la educación para la salud, la elaboración de planes de acción como una propuesta de intervención – considerando las complejidades de las comunidades visitadas –, y la construcción de conocimiento colectivamente. Esto pudo reforzar el trabajo en el campo de la salud pública, que necesita profesionales que sepan trabajar en equipo e interactuar con diferentes antecedentes, especialidades y especificidades.O presente trabalho tem como finalidade descrever a experiência do ensino integrado em saúde nas práticas acadêmicas em uma universidade pública do estado de Alagoas. Como forma de exemplificar a estratégia utilizada por essa instituição de ensino superior para favorecer o ensino e a formação interdisciplinar, bem como as práticas interprofissionais envolvidas, o artigo apresenta um relato de experiência que aconteceu nos anos de 2017 e 2018 em disciplinas específicas ofertadas para os cursos de Enfermagem, Fisioterapia, Fonoaudiologia e Terapia Ocupacional. Essa experiência possibilitou a vivência da prática interprofissional na formação em saúde e a elaboração de planos de ação como proposta de intervenção – considerando as complexidades das comunidades visitadas –, além da construção do conhecimento de forma coletiva.
