Resumo: The objective of this research was to evaluate the pillars of resilience of teachers of a Medical course at a university in the state of São Paulo. 68 teachers participated in the study and answered to the Resilience Pillar Scale. Among the sample means, the highest was found in the Self-efficacy pillar (M = 72.6) and lowest in the Positive Acceptance of Change pillar (M = 17.4). The analysis by gender revealed that only in the Sociability pillar there were statistically significant differences between men and women. As for the correlations between the pillars, there was only greater magnitude between Good Humor and Emotional Control. New investigations are suggested in Medical courses that allow the verification of associations between teacher resilience and the changes to be implemented that require flexibility and use of coping strategies from the teacher.

Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais2021-03-26info:eu-repo/semantics/articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionapplication/pdfhttps://periodicos.ufmg.br/index.php/rdes/article/view/2217510.35699/2237-5864.2021.22175Revista Docência do Ensino Superior; Vol. 11 (2021); 1-20Revista Docência do Ensino Superior; Vol. 11 (2021); 1-20Revista Docência do Ensino Superior; v. 11 (2021); 1-202237-58642358-6338reponame:Revista Docência do Ensino Superior (Online)instname:Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (UFMG)instacron:UFMGporhttps://periodicos.ufmg.br/index.php/rdes/article/view/22175/26184Copyright (c) 2021 Celeste Corral Tacaci Neves Baptista , Camélia Santina Murgo, Celeste Simões, Bárbara Cristina Soares Senahttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessBaptista , Celeste Corral Tacaci Neves Murgo, Camélia Santina Simões, CelesteSena, Bárbara Cristina Soares2023-02-01T19:30:21Zoai:periodicos.ufmg.br:article/22175Revistahttps://periodicos.ufmg.br/index.php/rdes/indexPUBhttps://periodicos.ufmg.br/index.php/rdes/oairevistadocenciaensinosuperior@ufmg.br||2237-58642237-5864opendoar:2023-02-01T19:30:21Revista Docência do Ensino Superior (Online) - Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (UFMG)false
