Working on the Political-Pedagogical Project with training teachers of Biological Sciences course: report of an experience

Resumo: This article is an activity description of a job experience on the disciplines of Science and Biology Teaching Methodology of a Biology course provided by a Brazilian private university. It related significant questions about elements of the Political Pedagogical Project (PPP). For that, topics considered relevant by the students were pointed out, and, thereafter, they were confronted with the projects made by private and public schools. The proposal indicated as relevant to the students the school’s infrastructure, the subjects developed, as well as showed a necessity of bringing discussions about the importance of knowing for who the school is destined and its reality. This discussion, which culminated in the reflection about the contemporary school and its different realities, is an opportunity to emphasize the importance to give voice to the concerns of the training teachers.

Relacionaram-se questões concernentes aos elementos constitutivos do Projeto Político-Pedagógico (PPP). Para isso, levantaram-se tópicos considerados pelos graduandos como fundamentais e, posteriormente, esses foram confrontados com os projetos elaborados por escolas particulares e públicas. A proposta apontou como relevante aos graduandos a infraestrutura da escola, os conteúdos desenvolvidos, bem como expôs a necessidade de se discutir nos cursos de licenciatura a importância de se perceber a quem se destina a escola e a realidade dela.
