Resumo: | The concept map is an educational resource whose benefits are supported by prestigious research. Nevertheless, its use by teachers is generally scarce and inefficient. The main objective of this research is to analyze to what extent the teachers in formation know, use and attribute value to this tool, also exploring how they perceive the received formation. For this, a quantitative approach is proposed; it is based on the generated data from the 1st and 4th year of Teaching Degree students, in a Spanish faculty of education. The results show a low familiarity of all groups with the concept map, although students believe it has a great educational potential. In addition, students consider that the training received with this tool was insufficient, which we consider to be a problem when we find ourselves in a context in which organization and information processing are core competences. |

Sin embargo, su uso por parte de docentes, tanto en formación como con experiencia, suele ser escaso y poco eficaz. El propósito principal de esta investigación es analizar en qué medida los maestros en formación conocen, utilizan y atribuyen valor a esta herramienta, explorando también cómo perciben la formación recibida. Para ello, se plantea una aproximación cuantitativa a partir de los datos generados por estudiantes de 1º y 4º de magisterio en una facultad de educación española. Los resultados muestran una baja familiaridad de todos los grupos con el mapa conceptual, aunque le atribuyen un gran potencial educativo. Además, los estudiantes consideran insuficiente la formación recibida en esta herramienta, lo que consideramos un problema al encontrarnos en un contexto en el que la organización y el tratamiento de la información son una competencia clave.O mapa conceitual é um recurso educacional cujos benefícios são apoiados por pesquisas de prestígio. Não obstante, seu uso pelos professores é geralmente escasso e ineficiente. O objetivo principal desta pesquisa é analisar em que medida os professores em formação conhecem, usam e atribuem valor a esta ferramenta, explorando também como percebem a formação recebida. Para isso, propõe-se uma abordagem quantitativa com base nos dados gerados pelos alunos do 1º e 4º ano do magistério em uma faculdade de educação espanhola. Os resultados mostram uma baixa familiaridade de todos os grupos com o mapa conceitual, embora os estudantes atribuam um grande potencial educacional.
