Resumo: The purpose of this study was to verify the perception of the students of the subject Management Applied to Nursing, as to the content, teaching method, teacher performance and what is learned as a person and as a professional. It is an exploratory-descriptive study from a qualitative approach. The evaluation by the students showed that we were on the right path in the subject. However, we believe there is still a long way to go for us to be able to structure a more adequate program, in order to attend to the complexity of professional practice which is constantly changing.

However, we believe there is still a long way to go for us to be able to structure a more adequate program, in order to attend to the complexity of professional practice which is constantly changing.La finalidad de este estudio fue observar la sensación de los alumnos de la materia Administración aplicada a enfermería ante los contenidos, estrategias de enseñanza, desempeño del profesor, contribución personal y formación profesional. Se trata de un estudio exploratorio descriptivo desde el enfoque cualitativo. Las evaluaciones de los alumnos indicaron que la materia está siguiendo el camino adecuado; sin embargo, consideramos que hay mucho por hacer para poder estructurar un programa que atienda correctamente la complejidad de la práctica profesional, siempre en evolución.Este estudo teve como objetivos verificar as percepções dos alunos quanto à disciplina Administração Aplicada à Enfermagem no que tange aos conteúdos abordados, estratégias de ensino utilizadas, desempenho do professor e contribuições em nível pessoal e formação profissional. Trata-se de um estudo exploratório-descritivo a partir da perspectiva da abordagem qualitativa.
