Carlos Chagas Nurse: students graduating from the Carlos Chagas School of Nursing School from 1933 to 1950

Resumo: This is descriptive research with the objective of describing the profile of students graduating from the Carlos Chagas School of Nursing from 1933 to 1950. The primary sources came from the Registrar's Office and the School Memoirs Center of the School of Nursing of the UFMG. Out of a total 150 files which were examined, we found that the profile of alumni is that of a single woman, aged between 20 and 30 years old, qualified as a primary school teacher, who had no idea what was involved in nursing before starting the course. They are from the interior of the State of Minas Gerais and are Catholics.

Las fuentes primarias para dicho estudio provienen de la Sección de Ensenanza y del Centro de Memoria de la Escuela de Enfermería de la UFMG. De un total de 150 formularios de inscripción analizados se constata que el perfil de la alumna diplomada era el de una mujer soltera entre 20 y 30 anos , católica, maestra primaria con curso normal, oriunda del interior del Estado de Minas Gerais, que desconocía el trabajo de enfermería antes de ingresar en el curso.Trata-se de uma pesquisa descritiva com o objetivo de caracterizar o perfil das alunas diplomadas pela Escola de Enfermagem Carlos Chagas no período de 1933 a 1950. As fontes primárias utilizadas no estudo foram provenientes da Seção de Ensino e do Centro de Memória da Escola de Enfermagem da UFMG.
