Resumo: The target was to identify the knowledge of students of the Federal University of Juiz de Fora Nursing College about anatomy applied to trauma, the importance that they give to this theme and the level of satisfaction with the content taught during the course in the undergraduate course. A questionnaire was used on the students` opinion on trauma, knowledge of trauma treatment protocols and specific legislation, followed by two objective questionnaires about anatomy applied to trauma, one before and another after theory and practice lessons. The students demonstrated dissatisfaction with their knowledge. There was a lack of knowledge about treatment protocols and legislation. The number of right answers in the first questionnaire was lower than in the second, which showed that the applied methodology was adequate.

Se ha utilizado un cuestionario para conocer la opinión de los estudiantes acerca del trauma, protocolos de tratamiento al traumatizado y legislación específica, seguido de dos cuestionarios objetivos de anatomía aplicada al trauma, uno anterior y otro posterior a una clase teórico-práctica. Los estudiantes han demostrado insatisfacción con sus conocimientos. Se ha observado desconocimiento de protocolos de tratamiento y de legislación. El número de aciertos en el primer cuestionario ha sido inferior al segundo, lo cual indica adecuación de la metodología aplicada.Objetivou-se identificar o conhecimento dos alunos da Faculdade de Enfermagem da Universidade Federal de Juiz de Fora - UFJF sobre anatomia aplicada ao trauma, a importância que dão ao tema e o grau de satisfação com o conteúdo ministrado no curso de graduação. Utilizou-se um questionário sobre a opinião dos alunos a respeito de trauma, conhecimento de protocolos de atendimento ao traumatizado e legislação específica, seguido de outro questionário objetivo sobre anatomia aplicada ao trauma, com exposição teórico-prática interposta. Os alunos demonstraram insatisfação com seus conhecimentos e desconhecimento de protocolos de atendimento e da legislação.
