Resumo: This paper aims to show that the dialectic of legal education is the key to understanding the baccalaureate in State Sciences. Indeed, a constitutive gap can be perceived in the legal education, namely, the affirmation of the humanist baccalaurism cultivated from the law schools of the Brazilian Empire and its negation of positivist technicalism made possible by the educational policy of the military regime of 1964. Despite the efforts of redemocratization, there has still been no reconciliation between the bachelor and the technician in law in legal education; however, the baccalaureate in State Sciences, by using the auspices of interdisciplinarity and transversality, reveals itself as an alternative for the effective unity of these separate dimensions. Finally, we have shown that it is urgent to bridge the gap between humanism and technicalism in order to Brazil be able to face up to contemporary and future challenges.

En efecto, se percibe una escisión constitutiva en la educación jurídica, a saber, la afirmación del bachillerismo humanista cultivado desde las escuelas de derecho del Imperio de Brasil y su negación del tecnicismo positivista posibilitado por la política educativa del régimen militar de 1964. A pesar de los esfuerzos de la redemocratización, todavía no se ha producido una reconciliación entre el bachiller y el técnico en derecho en la educación jurídica; sin embargo, el bachillerato en Ciencias del Estado, al utilizar los auspicios de la interdisciplinariedad y la transversalidad, se revela como una alternativa para la efectiva unidad de estas dimensiones separadas. Por último, hemos demostrado que es urgente superar la división entre humanismo y tecnicismo para que Brasil pueda hacer frente a los desafíos contemporáneos y futuros. Este artigo pretende mostrar que a dialética da educação jurídica é a chave de compreensão do Bacharelado em Ciências do Estado. Com efeito, percebe-se uma cisão constitutiva na educação jurídica, a saber, a afirmação do bacharelismo humanista cultivado a partir das escolas de direito do Império do Brasil e sua negação do tecnicismo positivista possibilitado pela política educacional do regime militar de 1964. Apesar dos esforços da redemocratização, ainda não houve a reconciliação entre o bacharel e o técnico em direito na educação jurídica, entretanto, o Bacharelado em Ciências do Estado, ao utilizar-se dos auspícios da interdisciplinaridade e da transversalidade, se revela como uma alternativa para a unidade efetiva dessas dimensões apartadas.
