The DEMOCRATIC AND POPULAR IDEAS AND THE STRUGGLE FOR THE DEMOCRATIZATION OF EDUCATION: : THEORETICAL, STRATEGIC AND TACTICAL CONTROVERSIES

Resumo: | The article questions some of the scope and limits of the Democratic and Popular Strategy and of the general struggles guided by this ideal in the field of education. This is a bibliographic study that uses historical, conceptual and documentary analysis. We tried to show how the proposals oriented by the democratic and popular strategy were assimilated by the movements that fought for the democratization of education, in defense of the public school, which were the flags raised, tactics used and the consequences for the political organization, indicating a certain convergence between the productions of educational research, the explicit demands in the PNE (1997), the organization of the FNDEP, and the resolutions of the PT and the democratic and popular ideas. The educational field, as part of the totality, expressed in a particular way the practical consciousness of the working class. The research aims to collaborate in directing criticisms that contribute to new strategic formulations, guiding flags and tactics of struggle, with the aim not only of achieving small improvements, but also in order to disrupt the social order of Capital. |

Se trata de un estudio bibliográfico que utiliza análisis histórico, conceptual y documental. Se buscó destacar cómo las propuestas guiadas por la estrategia democrática y popular se asimilaban por los movimientos que luchaban por la democratización de la educación, en defensa de la escuela pública, así como cuáles eran las banderas levantadas, las tácticas utilizadas y las consecuencias para la organización política, lo que indica una cierta convergencia entre las producciones de investigación educativa, las reivindicaciones explícitas en la PNE (1997), la organización del FNDEP, y las resoluciones del PT y los ideales democráticos y populares. El campo educativo, como parte de la totalidad, expresa de manera particular la conciencia práctica de la clase trabajadora. La investigación tiene como objetivo colaborar en la dirección de críticas que contribuyan a nuevas formulaciones estratégicas, guiando banderas y tácticas de lucha, con el objetivo no sólo de lograr pequeñas mejoras, sino en el sentido de everter el orden social de la Capital.O artigo problematiza alguns dos alcances e limites da Estratégia Democrática e Popular e das lutas gerais orientadas por esse ideário no campo da educação. Trata-se de um estudo bibliográfico que se vale de análise histórica, conceitual e documental. Buscou-se evidenciar como as propostas orientadas pela estratégia democrática e popular foram assimiladas pelos movimentos que lutaram pela democratização da educação, em defesa da escola pública, assim como quais foram as bandeiras levantadas, táticas utilizadas e as consequências para a organização política, indicando certa convergência entre as produções da pesquisa educacional, as reivindicações explícitas no PNE (1997), a organização do FNDEP, e as resoluções do PT e o ideário democrático e popular. O campo educacional, enquanto parte da totalidade, expressou de forma particular a consciência prática da classe trabalhadora.
