THE METHODOLOGIES USED IN NURSING TEACHING: THE STUDENTS SPEAK

Resumo: This is a descriptive transversal research, held in the second semester of 2016, aiming toinvestigate methodological strategies used to facilitate learning in the teaching of Nursing through theperspective of undergraduate students from four universities in the Northwest of Rio Grande do Sul,Brazil. According to students, the techniques that better helped their learning were the practical internshipclasses and laboratory. Teacher-centered lectures using projectors were the most tiring. Students areincreasingly using technologies and are interested in classes with them, however, according to testimonies,teachers make little use of active methodologies with communication and information technologies.Therefore, we could infer that teachers, besides having to find a way to adapt themselves to active technologies and methods, should know their students’ profiles to jointly create innovative and creativetechniques and methods to develop the classes.

Según los discentes, las técnicas que más facilitan el aprendizaje son las clases enlas prácticas y en el laboratorio. Las clases expositivas centradas en el profesor y con el uso de proyectores,son las más cansadas. Los discentes se adhieren cada vez más a las tecnologías y demuestran interés porclases que las utilizan, pero, según los testimonios, los docentes todavía adoptan poco a las metodologíasactivas utilizando tecnologías de información y comunicación. Luego, es posible inferir que, además deque los docentes tengan que encontrar una manera de adaptarse a las tecnologías y metodologías activas,es necesario conocer al perfil de sus alumnos, para planear colectivamente con ellos, técnicas y métodosinnovadores y creativos de desarrollar sus clases.Trata-se de uma investigação do tipo transversal descritiva, realizada no segundo semestrede 2016, cujo objetivo foi investigar as estratégias metodológicas usadas no ensino em enfermagem parafacilitar a aprendizagem, na perspectiva de discentes de quatro universidades do noroeste do Rio Grandedo Sul. Segundo os discentes, as técnicas que mais facilitam a aprendizagem são as aulas práticas emestágio e em laboratório. As aulas expositivas centradas no professor e com o uso de projetores são asmais cansativas. Os discentes estão aderindo cada vez mais às tecnologias e demonstram interesse poraulas que as utilizam; porém, segundo os depoimentos, os docentes ainda pouco adotam metodologiasativas utilizando tecnologias de informação e comunicação.
