Oficina Literária Étnico-Racial no espaço da Biblioteca Escolar

Resumo: This work aimed to encourage students of adult education - Youth and Adults - to think in their own ethnic-racial, and have positive attitudes about themselves and their neighbors, causing them to respect and value the culture african-Brazilian and understand the myth of racial democracy in Brazil, reflecting on the implications and characteristics of racism in Brazilian society. Thus, the present study was developed from a workshop held Racial-Ethnic Literature in the school library using texts of various genres such as poetry, prose poetry and biographies of african descent who fought against racism and racial discrimination in Brazil and the world. Were also used murals and films on the theme ethno-racial. After the workshop, the students made oral and written reflections on the subject. Through this discussion, there was a conceptual appropriation that students made about the contribution of African culture in Brazil, and on the characteristics of racial discrimination in Brazil. It was noticed that most of them managed to expand their world view and its knowledge of the ethnic-racial theme. The project also showed that there is a possibility of getting an education for the ethnic-racial relations, even within the confines of a school library.

The project also showed that there is a possibility of getting an education for the ethnic-racial relations, even within the confines of a school library.Este trabalho teve por objetivo incentivar os alunos da EJA Educação de Jovens e Adultos - a pensarem no seu próprio pertencimento étnico-racial, e a terem atitudes positivas em relação a si mesmo e ao seu próximo, levando-os a respeitar e a valorizar a cultura afro-brasileira e a compreenderem o mito da democracia racial no Brasil, refletindo sobre as implicações e as características do racismo na sociedade brasileira. Para tanto, o presente trabalho foi desenvolvido a partir de uma Oficina Literária Étnico-Racial realizada na biblioteca da escola utilizando-se textos de vários gêneros, como poesia, prosa poética e biografias de afro-descendentes que lutaram contra o racismo e a discriminação racial no Brasil e no mundo. Foram utilizados também murais e filmes sobre a temática étnico-racial. Após a Oficina, os alunos fizeram reflexões orais e escritas sobre o tema. Através dessas reflexões verificou-se a apropriação conceitual que os alunos fizeram sobre a contribuição da cultura africana na sociedade brasileira e sobre as características da discriminação racial no Brasil. Percebeu-se que a maioria deles conseguiu ampliar sua visão de mundo e seus conhecimentos sobre a temática étnico-racial.
