This study deals with sport in the Physical Education at School (EFIE) curriculum, the research problem is: How does sport manifest itself in the Physical Education at School curriculum? The research aims to understand the sport in the EFIE curriculum from a qualitative study of bibliographic review in the periodicals of the Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior (CAPES). The search was made from the descriptors Physical Education at School, Curriculum and Sport. We analyze the texts to check the centrality of the descriptors in scientific production. The informations show that the EFIE has been developed in the curriculum, has the sport as competition, training and performance as predominant content. It is concluded from the perspective of the authors that the sport has manifested itself in the curriculum of the Physical Education at School as an element few critical and reflective.
