PEDAGOGICAL PRACTICES IN PHYSICAL EDUCATION HIGH SCHOOL CLASSES: THE STUDENT’S PERSPECTIVE AT THE FEDERAL INSTITUTE OF SÃO PAULO

Resumo: The goal of the study was to analyze the contents that the high school students as learning during Physical Education (P.E.) classes. A documental research was conducted, composed of chronicles, cartoons, researches and gymnastics choreography videos of high school students that study at the Federal Institute of São Paulo. This documents were produced in P.E. classes after reflections that envolve corporal practices. For the comprehension of these data the content analysis technique was used. The analyzed productions showed that the students discussed biological, physiological, historical, economic, political, and social knowledge related to sports, dances, fights, gymnastics, games and games. We conclude that a diversity of contents were developed in Physical Education classes in High School, making this curricular component relevant for the formation of the citizenship of Brazilian young people.

Se realizó una investigación documental compuesta por crónicas, caricaturas, investigaciones y videos de coreografías de gimnasia general de los estudiantes de la Enseñanza Media que frecuentan el Instituto Federal de São Paulo. Estos documentos fueron producidos en las clases de Educación Física después de reflexiones sobre temas que involucran las prácticas corporales. Para la comprensión de los datos se utilizó la técnica de análisis de contenido. Las producciones analizadas mostraron que los alumnos discutieron sobre conocimientos biológicos, fisiológicos, históricos, económicos, políticos y sociales que se relacionan con los deportes, las danzas, las luchas, las gimnásticas, los juegos y los juegos. Concluimos que una diversidad de contenidos fueron desarrollados en las clases de Educación Física en la Enseñanza Media, haciendo que ese componente curricular relevante.O objetivo desse estudo foi analisar os conteúdos que os/as estudantes do Ensino Médio estão aprendendo durante as aulas de Educação Física. Foi realizada uma pesquisa documental composta por crônicas, charges, pesquisas e vídeos de coreografias de ginástica geral dos/das estudantes do Ensino Médio que frequentam o Instituto Federal de São Paulo. Esses documentos foram produzidos nas aulas de Educação Física após reflexões sobre temas que envolvem as práticas corporais. Para a compreensão dos dados foi utilizada a técnica de análise de conteúdo. As produções analisadas mostraram que os/as alunos/as discutiram sobre conhecimentos biológicos, fisiológicos, históricos, econômicos, políticos e sociais que se relacionam com os esportes, as danças, as lutas, as ginásticas, os jogos e as brincadeiras.
