SENSITIVITY TO GENDER EQUALITY IN FOOTBALL: PERSPECTIVES FROM ELEMENTARY AND HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS

Resumo: | The aim was to analyze the opinions and positions of students in the final years of Elementary and High School in relation to gender equality in football in the school environment and high performance. For this, a questionnaire called EAIGFU (Attitude Scale for Gender Equality in School Football) was used, developed by Spanish researchers and validated in Brazil, obtaining 187 responses from students with ages between 12 and 18 years old. For the analyses, the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) software was used, which grouped the responses into three clusters. The results point to opinions and positions that move between the egalitarian and sexist spectrums in clusters 1 and 2, with a greater predominance of sexist responses in 2 and uncertainty in 1 and a consistency of egalitarian responses in cluster 3, mostly formed by girls as opposed to the first two, which are mostly male. |

Para ello se utilizó o cuestionario EAIGFU (Escala de Actitud para la Igualdad de Género en el Fútbol Escolar), desarrollado por investigadores españoles y validado en Brasil, obteniendo 187 respuestas de estudiantes con edades entre 12 y 18 años. Para los análisis se utilizó el software Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS), que agrupó las respuestas en tres grupos. Los resultados apuntan a opiniones que se mueven entre los espectros igualitario y sexista en los clusters 1 y 2, con mayor predominio de respuestas sexistas en 2 e incertidumbre en 1 y consistencia de respuestas igualitarias en el 3, formado mayoritariamente por niñas, a diferencia de los otros, formados por chicos.O presente estudo objetivou analisar as opiniões e posicionamentos de estudantes dos anos finais do Ensino Fundamental e do Ensino Médio em relação à igualdade de Gênero no futebol no ambiente escolar e alto rendimento. Para isso, utilizou-se um questionário denominado EAIGFU (Escala de Atitudes para a Igualdade de Gênero no Futebol Escolar), desenvolvido por pesquisadores espanhóis e validado no Brasil, obtendo-se 187 respostas de estudantes com idades entre 12 e 18 anos. Para as análises, utilizou-se o software Statistical Pachage for Social Sciences (SPSS) que agrupou as respostas em três clusters.
