EVALUATION OF LEARNING IN PHYSICAL EDUCATION CLASSES IN HIGH SCHOOL: UNDERSTANDING OF STUDENTS

Resumo: The objective of this research was to map the conceptions of students of the 3rd year of High School on the process of evaluation of learning in Physical Education classes. We selected a 3rd grade high school class from three state schools in Londrina, PR. For the data collection, a questionnaire composed of 12 questions was applied to the selected students. We conclude that for students the evaluation of learning in Physical Education is a practice to identify the level of learning, however, the note ends up being the main concern of students. It is also important to note the difficulty of students in relating what they study with their daily life. In future research it is suggested to investigate the epistemological assumptions that support teacher praxis in order to better understand the reasons why learning evaluation is rarely seen as a component of the dynamics of the teaching and learning process.

Seleccionamos una clase del 3º año de la Enseñanza Media de tres escuelas estatales de Londrina, PR. Para la recolección de datos se aplicó, junto a los estudiantes seleccionados, un cuestionario compuesto por 12 preguntas. Concluimos que para los alumnos la evaluación del aprendizaje en la Educación Física es una práctica para identificar el nivel de aprendizaje, sin embargo, la nota termina siendo la principal preocupación de los estudiantes. Se destaca la dificultad de los alumnos en relacionar lo que ellos estudian con su cotidiano. En futuras investigaciones se sugiere la investigación de los supuestos epistemológicos que sostienen la praxis docente para comprender mejor los motivos por los cuales la evaluación del aprendizaje raramente es vista como componente de la dinámica del proceso de enseñanza y aprendizaje.O objetivo desta pesquisa foi mapear as concepções de estudantes do 3º ano do Ensino Médio sobre o processo de avaliação da aprendizagem nas aulas de Educação Física. Selecionamos uma turma do 3º ano do Ensino Médio de três escolas estaduais de Londrina, PR. Para a coleta de dados foi aplicado, junto aos estudantes selecionados, um questionário composto por 12 questões. Concluímos que para os alunos a avaliação da aprendizagem na Educação Física é uma prática para identificar o nível de aprendizagem, contudo, a nota acaba sendo a principal preocupação dos estudantes. Destaca-se ainda a dificuldade dos alunos em relacionar o que eles estudam com o seu cotidiano.
