Resumo: The family and school relationship should ensure good study conditions for the student, because the student needs to feel supported and safe. However, with the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, the relationship between school and family has undergone several changes in terms of working together. Thus, we considered it important to research this theme, with the purpose of understanding how this relationship was established during the pandemic period in the municipality of Naviraí/MS. We used a qualitative, descriptive research and collected data through questionnaires with open questions, sent via WhatsApp to the interviewees. The interviewees were three parents/guardians who were called participants 1, 2, and 3, from the municipal school system of Naviraí/MS. We also conducted a questionnaire with a technician from the Municipal Education Management. The parents and/or guardians who answered the questionnaires considered the school/family partnership very important, however, they noticed that the relationship with the school, during the pandemic period was damaged, because several times there was lack of communication and even difficulty to solve the activities and teach their children. We conclude that the school and the family are very important institutions for the learning of the children, and that the non-access to knowledge, during the pandemic period, can worsen even more, the situation of Brazilian education, damaging the students of public schools, with the delay and difficulties of access to the Internet.

Entretanto, com o início da pandemia do COVID-19, a relação entre a escola e a família sofreu diversas alterações, no que diz respeito ao trabalho em conjunto. Deste modo, consideramos importante pesquisar a temática, que teve como intuito, compreender como esta relação se estabeleceu no período de pandemia, no município de Naviraí/MS. Utilizamos a pesquisa qualitativa, de caráter descritivo e coletamos os dados por meio de questionários com questões abertas, encaminhadas via WhatsApp para os entrevistados. Os entrevistados foram 3 pais/responsáveis que foram denominados participantes 1, 2 e 3, da rede municipal de ensino de Naviraí/MS. Também realizamos um questionário com uma técnica da Gerência Municipal de Educação. Os pais e/ou responsáveis que responderam os questionários consideraram muito importante a parceria escola/família, no entanto, perceberam que a relação com a escola, no período da pandemia ficou prejudicada, pois diversas vezes houve falta de comunicação e até mesmo dificuldade para resolver as atividades e ensinar os filhos.
