Resumo: Autogenous tooth transplantation consists of the transposition of a dental element in the same individual through a surgical maneuver. This method represents a viable alternative in oral rehabilitation, being denoted in the replacement of compromised dental elements indicated in extraction and in the aesthetic and functional restitution of edentulous spaces. The objective of the work in question is to report two cases with the aim of suggesting autogenous transplantation as a viable alternative in the oral rehabilitation of edentulous spaces by highlighting its advantages and disadvantages. The cases include a 34-year-old patient and a 24-year-old patient who underwent tooth transplantation from element 28 to alveolus 37 due to extensive coronary destruction. In post-operative follow-ups, the results are successful, with no mobility and no infections in the periodontium adjacent to the transplanted region.

Esse método representa uma alternativa viável na reabilitação oral, sendo denotado na substituição de elementos dentais comprometidos indicados a exodontia e na restituição estética e funcional de espaços edêntulos. O objetivo do trabalho em questão é relatar dois casos com o intuito de apontar o transplante dentário autógeno como uma alternativa viável na reabilitação oral de espaços edêntulos a partir do ressalte de suas vantagens e desvantagens. Os casos compreendem uma paciente de 34 anos e em um paciente de 24 anos submetidos ao transplante dentário do elemento 28 para o alvéolo do 37 devido a extensa destruição coronária.
