Considering the quality of life of high school teachers in two public institutions and three individuals in the city of Rondonópolis MT, a total of 56 teachers are justified, research on the importance of teacher well-being in the search for balance between school and family life. Therefore, it is necessary that the general objective, can verify what causes satisfaction and dissatisfaction in the work environment. In a QVT questionnaire, Walton's structured model (1973), comparing institutions, identifying gender differences, analyzing differences between ages, and assessing differences in length of service. A research with the descriptive scientific methodology, the quantitative of 37 questions, with the factorial analysis of extraction in which 9 components were obtained, and the non-parametric tests were carried out. A qualitative with an open question. It originated with the use of IBM Estatiscics tools in version 20, and XMind8 in the 2016 version for the research design. He finds that private institutions are more satisfied than public institutions, and men are more satisfied than women. Regarding satisfaction were between the ages of 30 to 40 years, and satisfaction factor service time from 10 to 15 years. In hypotheses tested, hypothesis 1 and 2 3 that there were differences between educational institutions, gender and age, which corroborated. However, there were no statistically significant differences between length of service. In the hypothesis of the open question, there was confirmation of dissatisfaction with salary and overwork. The speeches that converged together, have more training courses, and improved teaching quality. Finally, we conclude from research suggestions, get higher numbers of teachers, cover in fundamental teachings, differences in level of satisfaction training course, different cities and sample size to be greater.
