Resumo: | The aim of this study was to evaluate the effect of ethanolic propolis extract (EPE) on the development and production of soybean Glycine max (L.) cv. TMG 133 RR. It was used randomized blocks design with four replications each treatment, were applied four concentrations of EEP (0, 1.5%, 3%;. 4.5% concentration of propolis) made with 10% pure propolis . There was compared to application of four commercial fungicide FOX concentrations. It was found that there was no statistical difference for the variables plant height, number of leaves / plant, leaf area. However, we observed small increases in the values of these variables with the application of EPE. There was a reduction in the severity of Asian soybean rust in the leaves with the implementation of the EPE. The concentration of 3% was more effective in soybean, reducing the severity of rust disease, and in target spot disease were no differences between treatments, and the treatment with higher concentration of t8 fungicide (4.5 ml) the greater disease control. There was an increase in production in the plots with treatment of 3% and 1.5% respectively on EPE over control treatments, this production attributed to decrease the severity of the target spot diseases and soybean rust. In the treatment concentration of 4.5% EPE, obstruction of the pump sprays beak occurred, giving uneven and inefficient way to control the two diseases. At concentrations of 3% of EEP, application showed results similar to commercial fungicide application, however, the fungicidal gain at the highest concentrations. Increases in production were mainly attributed to the reduction in the severity of asian rust and target spot verified with the application of the extract and nutritional potential present in the composition of propolis, which has plus some characteristics beneficial to the protection of plants, also contains some nutrients. |

TMG 133 RR. 2016. 32f.
