Resumo: The disorderly occupation of cities has contributed to the development of significant impacts both urban as environmental, reflecting serious problems for the population. Considering these factors, this course conclusion work studies the environmental impacts of irregular occupation in the Traíras bourn at the municipality of Várzea Grande - MT. The objective is to characterize the environment of the bourn, in the urban area and the environmental impacts occurred, contributing to a greater work that is to characterize the areas, analyze the causes, evaluate the extent of anthropic interference and contribute to environmental agencies in the future to recompose and unblock the bed of bourn from Traíras micro basin. The work was done through bibliographic survey, field and semi-structured questionnaire to the acquisition of data required for study execution. It was found that there is removal of vegetation, bourn contamination by solid and liquid domestic leavings and building throughout the canal and its surroundings, totally modified over time from anthropic actions by to be inhabited.

Considerando esses fatores, este trabalho de conclusão de curso estuda os impactos ambientais da ocupação irregular no córrego Traíras, no município de Várzea Grande – MT. O objetivo do trabalho é caracterizar o entorno do córrego, na área urbana e os impactos ambientais ocorridos, contribuindo para um trabalho maior que é caracterizar as áreas, analisar as causas, avaliar o quanto de interferência antrópica e contribuir para que órgãos ambientais futuramente recomponham e desobstruam o leito dos córregos da micro bacia do Traíras. O trabalho foi realizado por meio de levantamento bibliográfico, de campo e questionário semiestruturado para a aquisição de dados necessários a efetivação do estudo.
