Civil construction is one of the main responsible for the country's current GDP, which indicates that this sector should receive important care for its growth and conservation. According to some current research, it can be seen that the country's scenario is one of low-skilled labor in civil construction, which in a way limits progress, having seen the growing global technology that depends on qualified professionals to to progress. Factors such as the low level of education of professionals are one of the main factors responsible for the lack of qualifications, in addition to factors such as lack of interest in not having requirements. In order to analyze the quality of the workforce in the cities of Barra do Garças - MT, Pontal do Araguaia - MT and Aragarças - GO this work interviewed professionals in the sector: bricklayers, laborers, masters etc. The data obtained exemplify the current scenario in the country, which, although it exists, qualification is still limited by barriers such as education, among other factors, which expose the current need for qualified professionals to progress in conjunction with technological advances. That is why the research evaluates the quality as well as the interest of professionals in professional courses generates values corresponding to the local workforce. It is concluded that, although existing, the low qualification of the workforce in the cities did not change in relation to 2016 and that the interest in professionals in vocational courses is still low.
