ORGANIZATIONAL PERFORMANCE AND MANAGEMENT TOOLS: AN ANALYSIS OF PUBLICATIONS AND RESEARCH AGENDA

Resumo: | This article aims to understand how to obtain among the authors and how theories that have researched organizational performance assessment and management tools. For data analysis, bibliometric methods were used and through Exploratory Factor Analysis, it was possible to identify a connection between studies related to the research topic, in which three factors were selected: in factor 1, the studies worked on the development of some tools simple mechanism to analyze a company's resources and their management over time and the relationship between these resources and profitability; in factor 2, the studies addressed the strategic management of human resources and how it influences business performance, while in factor 3 the authors addressed the new public management and the nature of the motivation of public services and its effects on the behavior of public servants. To show the proximity of the articles to each factor, the Multidimensional Scaling-MDS was used. Thus, this article contributes to deepen the knowledge on the theme of organizational performance assessment and management tools and to guide research on this future theme. |

Para análise de dados foram utilizados os métodos bibliométricos e por meio da Análise Fatorial Exploratória, foi possível identificar a conexão entre os estudos relacionados ao tema da pesquisa, em que foram identificados três fatores: no fator 1, os estudos trabalharam no desenvolvimento de algumas ferramentas econômicas simples para analisar os recursos de uma empresa e seu gerenciamento ao longo do tempo e a relação existente entre estes recursos e a lucratividade; no fator 2, os estudos abordaram a gestão estratégica de recursos humanos e como ela influencia na performance empresarial, já no fator 3 os autores abordaram a nova gestão pública e a natureza da motivação dos serviços públicos e seus efeitos no comportamento dos funcionários públicos. Para evidenciar a proximidade dos artigos de cada fator, foi utilizado o Escalonamento Multidimensional-MDS.
