Resumo: | This article deals with the construction of didactic models on arthropods and the evaluation of the contribution of this practice in teaching-learning in high school classes during Supervised Internship IV. The Supervised Internship in undergraduates is, for many authors, the moment when the licentiate is faced with the challenges of the profession in the real context of society. The research was carried out in 2nd year classes in a public school in Teresina-PI. Each group of students received a representative of the Class Insects and Arachnids and Subfilo Crustaceans, to construct didactic models in biology classes. The models produced were presented by the students, showing the main characteristics and differences between the studied taxon. Errors were observed in the construction of the structures and in the explanation of those that were duly corrected. Nevertheless, the contribution of didactic models to the understanding of contents was clear, providing a more concrete and interactive learning. For the trainee this moment made possible a teaching based on critical thinking, developing methodologies and making flexible the action in front of the students' needs. It was concluded that the construction of the models helped to break with traditional practices in teaching-learning biology, bringing theoretical knowledge to everyday life. |

O Estágio Supervisionado nas licenciaturas é, para muitos autores, o momento onde o licenciando se depara com os desafios da profissão no contexto real da sociedade. A pesquisa foi realizada em turmas do 2° ano em uma escola pública de Teresina-PI. Cada grupo de estudantes recebeu um representante da Classe Insetos e Aracnídeos e Subfilo Crustáceos, para construção dos modelos didáticos nas aulas de biologia. Os modelos produzidos, foram apresentados pelos estudantes, evidenciando as principais características e diferenças entre os táxons estudados. Observou-se erros na construção das estruturas e na explicação destas que foram devidamente corrigidos. Apesar disso, foi nítida a contribuição dos modelos didáticos no entendimento dos conteúdos, proporcionando uma aprendizagem mais concreta e interativa. Para o estagiário este momento possibilitou, um ensino a partir do pensamento crítico, desenvolvendo metodologias e flexibilizando a atuação diante das necessidades dos estudantes.
