TRAINING OF TEACHER TRAINING IN MATO GROSSO: THE PRIMARY EDUCATION PROGRAMS 1962

Resumo: | This article refers to ongoing Master's research and has as its object of study the teacher education and the Primary School Teaching Programs of 1962. Its objective is to understand the process of teacher training, the instruction of the Teaching Programs that guided the pedagogical work and to know the elementary knowledge necessary for the teaching of Mathematics. The methodology is based on the historical cultural approach and has as research sources the Primary Education Programs of the State of Mato Grosso of 1962 and testimonies of protagonists of the time, contributing to the historiography of Mathematical Education of other times. The data reveal the curriculum of mathematics and other subjects that should be taught in public primary schools and the didactic teaching situations that should be planned and executed by the teacher in the classroom. Another highlight is the testimony of normalist teachers about the Training Courses, considered essential for the formation of primary teachers who taught in the public schools of Mato Grosso in the 60's. |

Tem como objetivo compreender o processo de formação de professores, as instruções dos Programas de ensino que orientavam o trabalho pedagógico e conhecer os saberes elementares necessários para o ensino de Matemática. A metodologia ancora-se na abordagem histórico cultural e tem como fontes de pesquisa os Programas de Ensino Primário do Estado de Mato Grosso de 1962 e depoimentos de protagonistas da época, contribuindo para a historiografia da Educação Matemática de outros tempos. Os dados revelam o currículo de Matemática e demais disciplinas que deveriam ser ensinadas nas escolas públicas primárias e as situações didáticas de ensino que deveriam ser planejadas e executadas pelo professor em sala de aula.
