SITUATION ACTIVITY PROBLEM IN MATHEMATICS: A METHODOLOGICAL PROPOSAL APPLIED IN THE CENTER OF ACTIVITIES AND DEVELOPMENT IN HIGH SKILLS/ABILITIES

Resumo: This work, as part of a dissertation, aims to analyze, through the activity of problem situations, based on Galperin 's theory, the evolution of the students' assimilation stages, with indicatives in high skills / giftedness. For the development of the research and aiming at the theoretical-methodological articulation the research had mixed methods approach. The activity of problem situations, as a study activity, takes the place of protagonist as a scientific method, revealing the importance of reflection and teaching practice in the teaching and learning process. The participants were 07 students attending the specialized educational service in the Mathematics discipline at the Center for Activities and Development in Higher Skills / CADAH / S in Boa Vista-Roraima. In this partial context, through the formative tests, the evidenced results were the difficulties of the students in the search of the solution of the problems involving the fundamental operations of mathematics and the advances of steps of assimilation, in the quality of the operations and actions that they presented during the learning process, bringing to light the importance of mediation of the mathematics teacher, in the Guiding Basis of Action, as a contribution in improving the potential of students with high skills / giftedness, in solving problems.

Para o desenvolvimento da investigação e visando a articulação teórico - metodológica, a pesquisa teve abordagem de métodos mistos. A atividade de situações problema, como atividade de estudo, assume lugar de protagonista como método científico, revelando a importância da reflexão e da prática docente no processo de ensino e aprendizagem. Os participantes foram 07 alunos que frequentam o atendimento educacional especializado, no componente curricular de Matemática, no Centro de Atividades e Desenvolvimento em Altas Habilidades/Superdotação-CADAH/S em Boa Vista-Roraima.
