WHAT IS SCIENCE AFTER ALL? DIALOGUES IN THE SCHOOL CONTEXT

Resumo: | This study sought to investigate through a qualitative research of an exploratory character, what the view of students of the first grade of high school in two schools in the city of Araguaína (TO), about the concept of Science. For that, it was sought through the precepts of the Textual Discursive Analysis proposed by Moraes and Galiazzi, to analyze the data obtained through the application of a questionnaire, which directed the creation of four categories of analysis, helping in the discussion of these data. In this way, it was possible to infer that there is still among students, the presence of incoherent conceptions about the nature of science, demonstrating the importance of studies like this that are based on the school context, in addition to the need for training teachers who work in this area. Thus, the results of this study lead us to the idea that for scientific education to take place without hindrance, it must seek, through classroom discussions about science, to approach all aspects related to it, based on not only in the final results of successful activities within the scientific context, but in its historical construction, which permeates doubts and theories, a characteristic that contributes to a more adequate view of the theme. |

Para eso, se buscó a través de los preceptos del Análisis Textual Discursivo propuestos por Moraes y Galiazzi, analizar los datos obtenidos mediante la aplicación de un cuestionario, el cual dirigió la creación de cuatro categorías de análisis, ayudando en la discusión de estos datos. Así, se pudo inferir que todavía existe entre los estudiantes, la presencia de concepciones incoherentes sobre la naturaleza de la ciencia, demostrando la importancia de estudios como este que se basan en el contexto escolar, además de la necesidad de formar docentes. que trabajan en esa área. De esta forma, los resultados del estudio nos llevan a la idea de que para que la educación científica se desarrolle sin impedimentos se debe abordar todos los aspectos relacionados con la ciência en discusiones en el clase, basándose no solo en los resultados finales de las actividades que culminaron com éxito en el contexto científico, pero en su construcción histórica, que atraviesa dudas y teorías, característica que contribuye a una visión más adecuada del tema.Este estudo buscou investigar, por meio de uma pesquisa qualitativa de caráter exploratório, qual a visão de alunos, da primeira série do Ensino Médio de duas escolas do município de Araguaína (TO), sobre o conceito de Ciência. Para tanto, buscou-se através dos preceitos da Análise Textual Discursiva, proposta por Moraes e Galiazzi, analisar os dados obtidos através da aplicação de um questionário, que direcionou a criação de quatro categorias de análise, auxiliando na discussão desses dados. Desse modo, foi possível inferir que ainda há entre os estudantes, a presença de concepções incoerentes a respeito da natureza da ciência, demonstrando a importância de estudos como este, que pautam o contexto escolar, além da necessidade de formação dos professores que atuam nessa área.
