DOCTORAL TRAINING IN EDUCATION: RETHINKING THE TEACHING INTERNSHIP FOR EXPERIENCED TEACHERS

Resumo: The present text aims to reflect on the doctoral education in the field of education, from the formative experience of insertion in the organization and participation in events of academic-scientific nature. This is a descriptive and reflexive work motivated by two problematizing questions: What is the significance of the internship in a doctorate in education? How can participation in scientific events work as a stage in the training of doctors? It is argued that in PhDs, whose doctoral students are already experienced teachers in the exercise of the teaching of basic and / or higher education, it is more significant for the formation of the teacher, doctor in training, that the internship of teaching is linked to academic-scientific activities that enable and challenge the doctoral student to become involved in the broader scientific and academic life.
