One of the perspectives of ethnomathematics is to re-signify the contents of school mathematics. For this, the emphasis should be placed on students’ learning anchored in their daily environment, relating school contents to knowledge derived from culture. Thus, it is important to investigate practices in which school mathematics is conceived as part of reality and of life itself. This article aims to show strategies of mathematical nature that are worked and processed in rural activities. These activities make it possible, through an Association of Small Farmers, to create and recreate forms of resistance to the exploitation of producers. We use a qualitative approach, from the perspective of Ethnomathematics, with participant observation, photographic records and interviews with rural producers.    The results show mental processes of a mathematical nature of rural producers, independent of schooling, which were developed, through culture, in their daily activities. These processes are decolonial and can be used as teaching and learning strategies at a school of the community.
