Resumo: The objective of this study was to carry out a survey of the national scientific production in the last 20 (twenty) years on the teaching of colligative properties. This is a state-of-the-know bibliographic study that consulted SciELO, Google Scholar and CAPES Periodicals, and established the last 20 (twenty) years as a time frame, that is, publications in Brazilian journals between 2001 to 2020. The search descriptors used were: teaching of colligative properties, teaching of ebullioscopy, tonoscopy, cryoscopy and osmosis. The subject was checked in the titles, abstracts and keywords, being selected the texts that contemplated the research theme. After reading it in full, the following criteria were analyzed: audience involved, contents covered, objective of the study/proposal, teaching methodology used and main results achieved. Eight (8) articles related to the object of study were identified. With the exception of one theoretical review article, which analyzed the concept of colligative properties in five Textbooks, and another involving undergraduate students, all other studies were carried out with 2nd year high school students. All articles addressed at least one colligative property, six of which covered all four. Only one of them also addressed the concept of solutions. The main strategies are: didactic games, experimental activities and use of technological tools. The study allowed us to understand how the teaching of colligative properties has been developed in Brazilian schools, in addition to obtaining suggestions on how to approach the subject in the classroom.
