Fora dos muros do Pomeri : (ex)inclusão de adolescentes egressos do sistema socioeducativo? Uma análise crítica do discurso

The reintegration of adolescents to the school context, out of the socio educational system, has been a problem in the State of Mato de Grosso. Few schools accept students that have already gone through educational measures. And schools that may accept these adolescents, when they receive the visit of a pedagogic coordinator of the Social Assistance Reference Center – CRAS, only have complaints to make. This research aims at investigating the discursive practices of egress students of the socio educational system regarding their educational progress, out of the walls of Pomeri socio educational complex, in Cuiabá. It is a qualitative research. The techniques of data collection used were participant observation and semi-structured interviews. The study is based on the theories of Critical Discourse Analysis (CDA) by Fairclough (2001, 2003a), Critical Realism (CR) by Bhaskar (1998) and Systemic Functional Linguistics (SFL) by Halliday (1994). In order to analyze the students’ discursive practices, I take into account the category of representational meaning of Fairclough (2003a). My aim is to verify how the reinsertion/reintegration of these adolescents in the new school environment, after going through the socio educational system is being carried out. Data were collected in the CEJA Almira Amorim school, with the egress students of the socio-educational system. The results of the analyses expose the need for public authorities to raise awareness in order to offer vacancies to the egress students of the socio educational system and also to integrate of the systems networks – Seduc, Sejudh – which accompany the students, so that they are not deprived of their rights and are not subject to social exclusions. The adolescents’ utterance also revealed that the Almira Amorim school has contributed to the process of their resocialization.
