Proposta pedagógica para a inserção da perspectiva da conservação da flora para o ensino de Ciências

Resumo: The State of Amapá has about 70% of its territory in protected areas, creating a peculiar feature of conservation. Within this landscape, is the science education as key driver in promoting a sustainable approach in the use of natural resources through the usual technical and knowledge of plants. In this scenario, the municipality of Serra do Navio has a vocation for environmental and adventure tourism on the natural scenic beauty, in which the creation of an area to be used by the population for the purpose of enhancing the natural and cultural heritage, contribute to the development integral of the region. Currently, the educational landscape of the city does not differ from national reality and, although it is undisputed that environmental issues should be among the priority issues in modern society and educational activities outside of the classroom are an efficient instrument for the establishment of a new perspective on the relationship between man and nature, there is a lack of educational spaces dedicated to this theme. Several studies highlight the importance of green or natural areas for the development of educational activities for the Science Teaching, which are held several actions that can be provided interpretive trails to sensory gardens. The objective of this research was to investigate teachers' knowledge about the flora in the city of Serra do Navio and identify educational resources adopted for the botanical content in elementary school proposing the introduction of new teaching tools. This research was divided into three stages: the first for the theoretical research and practice; the second for the collective construction of a pedagogy for teaching Botany; and the third for the creation of architectural design for the Sensory Garden Tumucumaque and partnerships. The subjects are public school teachers in the city of Serra do Navio. Research in this research is qualitative, characterized by the acquisition of descriptive data obtained in direct contact with the researcher studied the situation, trying to emphasize more the fundamentals and methods of the product, and worrying in portraying the expectation of the participants relating to matters involved in educational research. The object of research has to do with teaching, learning and the context (categories of analysis and research), considering their interrelationships in science education for the Amazon region. The results obtained in this study it was found that the prior knowledge of teachers for the Botany content are appropriate to the principles of significant learning proposed by Ausubel, and executed collaborative activities resulted in the construction of the educational proposal for the teaching of Botany in the Sensory Garden Tumucumaque defining the objectives and competencies for each level of basic education, emphasizing the aspects related to flora conservation using the knowledge of medicinal plants as subsumer. In this respect the Ethnobotany is configured as an important source of social and environmental information to help the teacher in obtaining the necessary conditions to promote meaningful learning. The Sensory Garden Tumucumaque can be an early organizer of the comparative type for teaching botany, to present family floristic elements to students, while bringing scientific information related plants. The appreciation and understanding of the mechanisms behind the science education experiences in natural environments can bring out important goals for education related to scientific knowledge of the region.

Dentro desta paisagem, está o Ensino de Ciências como importante indutor na promoção de uma postura sustentável no uso dos recursos naturais, por intermédio do conhecimento técnico e usual das plantas. Neste cenário, o Município de Serra do Navio apresenta vocação para o turismo ambiental e de aventura diante da beleza cênica natural, na qual a criação de uma área a ser utilizada pela população com objetivo de valorização do patrimônio natural e cultural, contribuiria para o desenvolvimento integral da região. Atualmente, o cenário educacional do Município não difere da realidade nacional e, apesar de ser indiscutível que as questões ambientais devam estar entre os assuntos prioritários na sociedade moderna e que atividades educacionais realizadas fora de sala de aula são um instrumento eficiente para o estabelecimento de uma nova perspectiva na relação entre o homem e a natureza, existe uma lacuna de espaços educativos voltados para tal temática. Diversos estudos ressaltam a importância das áreas verdes ou naturais para o desenvolvimento de atividades educativas voltadas ao Ensino de Ciências, onde são realizadas várias ações que podem ser desde trilhas interpretativas até jardins sensoriais. O objetivo desta pesquisa foi o de investigar os conhecimentos dos professores sobre a flora no Município de Serra do Navio e identificar os recursos pedagógicos adotados para o conteúdo de botânica no Ensino Fundamental propondo a inserção de novas ferramentas didáticas. Esta Pesquisa foi dividida em três momentos: o primeiro destinado às investigações teóricas e práticas; o segundo destinado à construção coletiva de uma proposta pedagógica para o ensino de Botânica; e o terceiro destinado à criação do projeto arquitetônico para o Jardim Sensorial Tumucumaque e estabelecimento de parcerias. Os sujeitos da pesquisa são os professores da rede pública do Município de Serra do Navio. A investigação nesta pesquisa é qualitativa, caracterizada pela a aquisição de dados descritivos, obtidos no contato direto da pesquisadora com a situação estudada, buscando enfatizar mais os fundamentos e métodos do que o produto, e se preocupando em retratar a expectativa dos participantes referentes aos aspectos educacionais envolvidos na pesquisa. O objeto de pesquisa tem a ver com o ensino, a aprendizagem e o contexto (categorias de análise e pesquisa), considerando suas interrelações no Ensino de Ciências para a região Amazônica. Como resultados obtidos nesta pesquisa identificou-se que os conhecimentos prévios dos professores referentes ao conteúdo de Botânica são adequados aos princípios da Aprendizagem significativa proposta por Ausubel, e as atividades colaborativas executadas resultaram na construção da proposta pedagógica para o ensino de Botânica no Jardim Sensorial Tumucumaque, definindo os objetivos e competências para cada nível da Educação básica, ressaltando os aspectos referentes a conservação da flora utilizando o conhecimento sobre plantas medicinais como subsunçor. Neste aspecto a Etnobotânica configura-se como importante fonte de informações socioambientais que auxiliam o professor na obtenção das condições necessárias a promoção da aprendizagem significativa. O Jardim Sensorial Tumucumaque pode ser um organizador prévio do tipo comparativo para o ensino de Botânica, por apresentar elementos florísticos familiares aos alunos, e ao mesmo tempo que traz informações científicas relacionadas as plantas.
