THE PERCEPTION OF THE BODY OF ADOLESCENTS IN A PRIVATE SCHOOL IN SANTARÉM-PA: corporeity on stage

Resumo: This work aimed to understand the perceptions of body of high school students of a private educational institution in Santarém-PA and its relationship with the approach of corporeity in Physical Education classes in the amazonic educational context. The data elaboration occurred through an interview with three generating questions held with two students, and the analysis was based on the Technique of Elaboration and Analysis of Meaning Units proposed by Moreira, Simões and Porto (2005). The results inferred perceptions attributed by the research participants that still remain linked to the instrumental, machinic and fragmented vision of the body in the discipline of school Physical Education and in the adolescence phase. On the other hand, some subjects' reports presented indications of new ways of being and being in the world, opening the way for a reflection on the body based on corporeality. In view of such findings about the body for the students, varying between perceptions based on body-object and body-subject, it is argued that the corporeity presents itself as a possibility in educational processes, respecting the way the human being learns, feels, lives and acts, relating with himself, with others, with the world and with its surroundings.

La preparación de los datos ocurrió a través de una entrevista con tres preguntas generadoras realizada a dos estudiantes, el análisis se realizó a partir de la Técnica de Elaboración y Análisis de Unidades de Significado propuesta por Moreira, Simões y Porto (2005). Los resultados infirieron percepciones atribuidas por los participantes de la investigación que aún permanecen vinculadas a la visión instrumental, maquínica y fragmentada del cuerpo en la disciplina de Educación Física en la escuela y en la fase de la adolescencia. Por el contrario, algunos informes de los sujetos mostraron signos de nuevas formas de ser y estar en el mundo, abriendo el camino a la reflexión del cuerpo basada en la corporalidad. Ante esta constatación del cuerpo para los alumnos, variando entre las percepciones basadas en el cuerpo-objeto y el cuerpo-sujeto, se argumenta que la corporeidad se presenta como una posibilidad en los procesos educativos, respetando la forma en que el ser humano aprende, siente, vive y actúa, relacionándose consigo mismo, con los demás, con el mundo y con su entorno.Este trabalho teve como objetivo compreender as percepções de corpo de estudantes do Ensino Médio de uma instituição educacional privada em Santarém-PA e sua relação com a abordagem da corporeidade nas aulas de Educação Física no contexto educacional amazônico. A elaboração dos dados ocorreu por meio de uma entrevista com três perguntas geradoras realizada com dois estudantes, a análise se deu a partir da Técnica de Elaboração e Análise de Unidades de Significado proposta por Moreira, Simões e Porto (2005). Os resultados inferiram percepções atribuídas pelos participantes da pesquisa que ainda permanecem arroladas à visão instrumental, maquínica e fragmentada de corpo na disciplina de Educação Física escolar e na fase da adolescência. Em contraposição, alguns relatos dos sujeitos apresentaram indícios de novas formas de ser e estar no mundo, abrindo caminho para a reflexão de corpo pautada na corporeidade.
