Reflections on Body, Praxis and Corporeity

Resumo: This essay aims to present some considerations about the relation praxis and corporeity, starting from the study of the body conceptions that marked the educational processes from the nineteenth century and the constitution of Physical Education as a disciplinary activity. In the historical-critical analysis of these discourses, pedagogical aspects stand out that, in the school-capital-work context, point to the overcoming of the machinic vision of the body through a transforming praxis and an active corporeity of the subject. Thus, the reflection proposed here intends to contribute to corporeal studies and constitutes the contribution of an ongoing research that investigates the approach of the body in the formation of professional technical courses.

En el análisis histórico-crítico de esos discursos sobresalen aspectos pedagógicos que, en el contexto escuela-capital-trabajo, apuntan a la superación de la visión maquínica del cuerpo por medio de una praxis transformadora y de una corporeidad activa del sujeto. Así, la reflexión aquí propuesta pretende contribuir con los estudios de la corporeidad y constituye aporte de una investigación en curso que investiga el abordaje del cuerpo en la formación de los cursos técnicos profesionales.Este ensaio tem o objetivo de apresentar algumas considerações sobre a relação práxis e corporeidade, tendo como ponto de partida o estudo das concepções de corpo que marcaram os processos educativos a partir do século XIX e a constituição da Educação Física como atividade disciplinatória. Na análise histórico-crítica desses discursos sobressaem aspectos pedagógicos que, no contexto escola-capital-trabalho, apontam para a superação da visão maquínica do corpo por meio de uma práxis transformadora e de uma corporeidade ativa do sujeito.
