DIVERSIDADE CULTURAL: processos migratórios e a educação municipal de Boa Vista-RR

Resumo: | We live in a process of population displacement that has been driving the revision of social, cultural, political, and educational values. We realized that this displacement can occur from economic and political crises to natural disasters, which end up driving cultural diversity and the need for different educational measures to deal with these subjects. Given this context, we aim to analyze the cultural diversity resulting from immigration in the municipal schools of Boa Vista / RR, based on data from the Municipal Department of Education, in the year 2020. We found that the number of students enrolled in their schools, coming from various countries, bring with them cultural characteristics and, consequently, the need for other forms of teaching activities. The state of Roraima has strong immigration characteristics, from its colonization project in the 1980s, until the intensification of Venezuelan immigration, starting in 2015. Most of these immigrants, who enter the state of Roraima, end up concentrating in the capital Boa Vista/RR. With this reality, there has been a significant increase in the number of Venezuelan students in municipal schools, as they see it as an opportunity for integration with the new society. Data analysis shows us the need to develop educational practices that meet cultural diversity in the school environment. This situation, which permeates the training and performance of the teaching professional, but also the qualification of the school management team and the Municipal Secretariat. |

Nos dimos cuenta de que este desplazamiento puede ocurrir desde crisis económicas y políticas hasta desastres naturales, que terminan impulsando la diversidad cultural y la necesidad de diferentes medidas educativas para abordar estos temas. Ante este contexto, pretendemos analizar la diversidad cultural resultante de la inmigración en las escuelas municipales de Boa Vista / RR, con base en datos del Departamento Municipal de Educación, en el año 2020. Encontramos que el número de estudiantes matriculados en sus escuelas, provenientes de varios países, traen consigo características culturales particulares y, en consecuencia, la necesidad de otras formas de actividades docentes. El estado de Roraima tiene características migratorias muy fuertes, desde su proyecto de colonización en la década de 1980, hasta la intensificación de la inmigración venezolana, a partir de 2015. La mayoría de estos inmigrantes, que ingresan al estado de Roraima, terminan concentrándose en la capital Boa Vista/RR. Con esta realidad, ha habido un aumento significativo en el número de estudiantes venezolanos en las escuelas municipales, ya que lo ven como una oportunidad de integración con la nueva sociedad. El análisis de datos nos muestra la necesidad de desarrollar prácticas educativas que respondan a la diversidad cultural en el entorno escolar. Esta situación, que impregna la formación y desempeño del profesional docente, pero también la cualificación del equipo directivo de la escuela y la Secretaría Municipal.Vivemos em um processo de deslocamento populacional que vem impulsionando a revisão de valores sociais, culturais, políticos e educacionais. Percebemos que esse deslocamento pode ocorrer a partir de crises econômicas e políticas até desastres naturais, o que acabam impulsionando a diversidade cultural e a necessidade de medidas educacionais distintas para o trato com esses sujeitos. Diante deste contexto, objetivamos analisar a diversidade cultural decorrente da imigração nas escolas municipais de Boa Vista/RR, a partir de dados da Secretaria Municipal de Educação, no ano de 2020. Verificamos que o número de alunos matriculados nas suas escolas, provenientes de vários países, trazem consigo características culturais particulares e, consequentemente, a necessidade de outras formas de atuação docente. O estado de Roraima tem características muito fortes de imigração, desde seu projeto de colonização nos anos de 1980, até a intensificação da imigração venezuelana, a partir de 2015. A maior parte destes imigrantes, que adentram pelo estado de Roraima, acabam se concentrando na capital Boa Vista/RR. Com esta realidade houve um aumento expressivo do número de alunos venezuelanos nas escolas municipais, por a enxergarem como uma oportunidade de integração com a nova sociedade. A análise dos dados nos mostra a necessidade de desenvolver práticas educacionais que atendam a diversidade cultural no ambiente escolar.
