PEDAGOGICAL INNOVATION IN ACADEMIC PRODUCTIONS: systematic review

Resumo: Pedagogical innovation has often been confused with reforms or changes. However, it is related to the rupture in the traditional way of teaching and learning. In view of the different versions of the concept and aspects of innovation, this study sought to answer the following question: How does pedagogical innovation present itself in higher education? To answer this question, we aimed to identify and analyze the results of research published in Portuguese and Spanish, from 2011 to 2022, on pedagogical innovation in higher education. To this end, a systematic review of works published between 2011 and 2022 was carried out, using the following descriptors: pedagogical innovation, teaching innovation, innovative practices, innovative pedagogical practices. The results found revealed that innovation in university teaching appears as the use of technological resources, methodologies and diversified strategies. Despite this, it was noted that the teacher-student relationship and theory-practice, and affectivity also appear, but less frequently. Taking into account that innovation is a strong and powerful ally of teachers in undergraduate degrees, and contributes to improve the professional training of future teachers, this article invites for reflection and the development of studies addressing pedagogical innovation and pointing out its importance in the professional training of teachers to improve the quality of education. Sin embargo, se relaciona con la ruptura en la forma tradicional de enseñar y aprender. En vista de las diferentes versiones del concepto y aspectos de la innovación, este estudio buscó responder a la siguiente pregunta: ¿Cómo se presenta la innovación pedagógica en la educación superior? Para responder a esta pregunta, nuestro objetivo fue identificar y analizar los resultados de las investigaciones publicadas en portugués y español, de 2011 a 2022, sobre la innovación pedagógica en la educación superior. Para ello, se realizó una revisión sistemática de los trabajos publicados entre 2011 y 2022, utilizando los siguientes descriptores: innovación pedagógica, innovación docente, prácticas innovadoras, prácticas pedagógicas innovadoras. Los resultados encontrados revelaron que la innovación en la docencia universitaria aparece como el uso de recursos tecnológicos, metodologías y estrategias diversificadas. A pesar de ello, se observó que también aparecen la relación profesor-alumno y teoría-práctica, y la afectividad, pero con menos frecuencia. Teniendo en cuenta que la innovación es un fuerte y poderoso aliado de los docentes en las carreras de pregrado, y contribuye a mejorar la formación profesional de los futuros docentes, este artículo invita a la reflexión y al desarrollo de estudios que aborden la innovación pedagógica y señalen su importancia en la formación profesional de los docentes para mejorar la calidad de la educación. Todavia, está relacionada à ruptura na maneira tradicional de ensinar e aprender. Assim, questionamos: como a inovação pedagógica se apresenta no ensino superior? Buscando responder essa questão, traçamos como objetivo desta pesquisa, identificar e analisar os resultados de trabalhos publicados em língua portuguesa e espanhola, no período de 2011 a 2022, sobre inovação pedagógica na educação superior. Para tanto, foi realizada uma revisão sistemática dos trabalhos publicados nas bases de dados: Scielo, Google Scholar e Repositórios Universitários, entre os anos de 2011 a 2022, utilizando os seguintes descritores: inovação pedagógica, inovação docente, práticas inovadoras, práticas pedagógicas inovadoras. Dentre artigos, dissertações e teses, foram analisadas 24 publicações. Os resultados encontrados revelam que a inovação na docência universitária aparece como a utilização de recursos tecnológicos, de metodologias e estratégias diversificadas. Apesar disso, notou-se que a relação professor-estudante e teoria-prática e a afetividade também surgem, porém com menos frequência.
