Resumo: | There are very few transvestites/transsexuals who have an academic career. It is estimated that 90% of them are in prostitution. However, recently in 2020, Folha/SP published the transphobic speech of Bolsonaro’s education minister: “I have reservations and reservations about having transvestite and transgender teachers in the classroom”. The work brings the sample of PG's of education in the North region about/with transvestites/transsexuals in dissertations and theses in the northern Amazon. This is an “implied research” (ROCHA; MAIA, 2017) with a phenomenological basis by the Gepce/minorities group with authors such as: bell hooks (2019), Judith Butler (2008), Daniel Borrillo (2010). In the results, we point out the “objectification” of “trans bodies” and the denial of opportunities for access to higher education, graduate studies and research due to the “place” of subalternation in which we, “T people”, are placed; although at least 12 federal universities already have quotas for trans students, and some with specific vacancies at undergraduate and graduate levels. |

Universidade Federal do Oeste do Pará/UFOPA2023-04-18info:eu-repo/semantics/articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionapplication/pdfhttps://portaldeperiodicos.ufopa.edu.br/index.php/revistaexitus/article/view/211910.24065/2237-9460.2023v13n1ID2119Revista Exitus; v. 13 (2023); e0230282237-9460reponame:Revista Exitusinstname:Universidade Federal do Oeste do Pará (UFOPA)instacron:UFOPAporhttps://portaldeperiodicos.ufopa.edu.br/index.php/revistaexitus/article/view/2119/1406Copyright (c) 2023 Damião Rocha, Jéssika Villalon Souza Cruzhttps://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessRocha, DamiãoSousa Cruz, Jessika Villalon 2023-03-01T11:33:43Zoai:ojs.pkp.sfu.ca:article/2119Revistahttps://portaldeperiodicos.ufopa.edu.br/index.php/revistaexitus/indexPUBhttps://portaldeperiodicos.ufopa.edu.br/index.php/revistaexitus/oai||revistaicedufopa@gmail.com2237-94602236-2983opendoar:2024-01-24T12:48:33.072178Revista Exitus - Universidade Federal do Oeste do Pará (UFOPA)false |
