The 25 Years of PPGDR-UNISC and its contribution to graduate and research in Regional Development in Brazil

Resumo: The Graduate Program in Regional Development at the University of Santa Cruz do Sul - UNISC completed 25 years in 2019. Created in 1994, at the master's level, it was originally linked to the CAPES Multidisciplinary Committee, having been the first Program in the area in parents. In 2002 it underwent a restructuring, being linked, from then on, to the Committee of Urban and Regional Planning / Demography. With the obtaining of grade 4, in 2004, it started offering the Doctorate level as from 2005. In 2010 it underwent a second restructuring, culminating in obtaining grade 5 in the 2013 triennial evaluation. In this article we discuss the process of creation and consolidation of PPGDR-UNISC and its contribution to the structuring of the area of knowledge in urban and regional planning-demography in Brazil, an overview of the dissertations and theses defended in this period, and the multidisciplinary profile and the social and professional insertion of its graduates, demonstrating the trajectory and results achieved in that period.

Creado en 1994, a nivel de maestría, originalmente estaba vinculado al Comité Multidisciplinario CAPES, habiendo sido el primer programa en el área en padres En 2002 sufrió una reestructuración, vinculándose, a partir de entonces, al Comité de Planificación Urbana y Regional / Demografía. Con la obtención del grado 4, en 2004, comenzó a ofrecer el nivel de Doctorado a partir de 2005. En 2010 se sometió a una segunda reestructuración, culminando con la obtención de una puntuación de 5 en la evaluación trienal de 2013. En este artículo discutimos el proceso de creación y consolidación de PPGDR-UNISC y su contribución a la estructuración del área de conocimiento en planificación y demografía urbana y regional en Brasil, una visión general de las disertaciones y tesis defendidas en este período, y el perfil multidisciplinario y el inserción social y profesional de sus egresados, demostrando la trayectoria y los resultados alcanzados en ese período.O Programa de Pós-Graduação em Desenvolvimento Regional da Universidade de Santa Cruz do Sul – UNISC completou 25 anos em 2019. Criado em 1994, em nível de mestrado, esteve originalmente vinculado ao Comitê Multidisciplinar da CAPES, tendo sido o primeiro Programa da área no país. Em 2002 passou por uma reestruturação, vinculando-se, a partir de então, ao Comitê do Planejamento Urbano e Regional/Demografia. Com a obtenção da nota 4, em 2004, passou a oferecer o nível de Doutorado a partir de 2005. Em 2010 passou por uma segunda reestruturação, culminando com a obtenção da nota 5 na avaliação trienal de 2013.
