PROFESSIONAL AND TECHNOLOGICAL EDUCATION: challenges and perspectives in teaching education

Resumo: This essay aims to reflect from a historical and legal contextualization of Professional and Technological Education (PTE), on the challenges and perspectives in the educating of its professionals. The methodology employed was based on a research with a qualitative approach, anchored in the method of historical dialectical materialism and in the exploratory and descriptive objectives. The narrative bibliographic technique was also used based on the works of authors and commentators who examine the teacher educating to work at PTE. This essay presents a structure that can be described as follows: a) it deals with a brief historical and legal contextualization of PTE in Brazil; b) reflects on the challenges and perspectives of teacher educating for PTE; c) presents the final considerations. It is concluded that the PTE requires a constitutive teacher educating, systematic and capable of allowing the articulation and balanced development of general and technical knowledge, these specific to a field of science.

La metodología empleada se basó en una investigación cualitativa, basada en el método del materialismo dialéctico histórico y en objetivos exploratorios y descriptivos. También se utilizó la técnica bibliográfica narrativa, basada en los trabajos de autores y comentaristas que examinan la formación docente para trabajar en  la  EPT. Este ensayo presenta una estructura que se puede describir de la siguiente manera: a) una breve contextualización histórica y jurídica de la EPT en Brasil; b) reflexión sobre los desafíos y perspectivas de la formación del profesorado para la EPT; c) presenta las consideraciones finales. Se concluye que la EPT requiere de una formación docente constitutiva, sistemática y capaz de permitir la articulación y desarrollo equilibrado de conocimientos generales y técnicos, estos propios de un campo de la ciencia.O presente ensaio tem por objetivo refletir a partir de uma contextualização histórica e legal da Educação Profissional e Tecnológica (EPT), sobre os desafios e as perspectivas na formação de seus profissionais. A metodologia empregada pautou-se em uma pesquisa de abordagem qualitativa, ancorada no método do materialismo histórico dialético e nos objetivos exploratórios e descritivos. Também utilizou-se da técnica bibliográfica narrativa, por meio de obras de autores e comentadores que examinam acerca da formação docente para atuar na EPT. Este ensaio apresenta uma estrutura que pode ser assim descrita: a) trata de uma breve contextualização histórica e legal da EPT no Brasil; b) reflete sobre os desafios e as perspectivas da formação de professores para a EPT; c) apresenta as considerações finais.
