Resumo: This article addresses the legacy of Paulo Freire and Boaventura Santos for the training of those who teach, coordinate and research Youth and Adult Education (EJA). The objective of which is to contribute to the debate on the place that EJA occupies, emphasizing the importance of the social emancipation of subjects, in terms of everyday pedagogical practices, the conception of Education from the Freirian perspective and in the thought of the ecology of knowledge of Santos, as well such as, the curriculum as a political field, diverse and plural, through collective construction, as possible paths for education aimed at the liberation and emancipation of EJA subjects. In this way, counter-hegemonic and post-abyssal thinking is understood as founding conceptions for the process of liberation of the human being, as a sociocultural subject in relation to his.

El objetivo del cual es contribuir al debate sobre el lugar que ocupa la EJA, enfatizando la importancia de la emancipación social de los sujetos, en términos de las prácticas pedagógicas cotidianas, la concepción de la Educación desde la perspectiva freiriana y en el pensamiento de la ecología de la educación. conocimiento de Santos, así como, el currículum como campo político, diverso y plural, a través de la construcción colectiva, como caminos posibles para una educación orientada a la liberación y emancipación de los sujetos de la EJA. De esta manera, se entiende el pensamiento contrahegemónico y postabismal como concepciones fundacionales para el proceso de liberación del ser humano, como sujeto sociocultural en relación con sus vínculos.Este artigo aborda o legado de Paulo Freire e de Boaventura Santos para a formação de quem ensina, coordena e pesquisa a Educação de Jovens e Adultos (EJA). O qual tem como objetivo contribuir para o debate sobre o lugar que a EJA ocupa enfatizando a importância da emancipação social dos sujeitos, no tocante as práticas pedagógicas cotidianas, a concepção de Educação na perspectiva freiriana e no pensamento da ecologia de saberes de Santos, assim como, o currículo como um campo político, diverso e plural, através da construção coletiva, como caminhos possíveis para a educação voltada para libertação e emancipação dos sujeitos da EJA.
