Departamento de Filosofia, Instituto de Filosofia, Artes e Cultura, Universidade Federal de Ouro Preto.O objetivo desta dissertação é analisar a relação e os desdobramentos dos conceitos de ingênuo e sentimental com a proposta de uma educação estética para a humanidade em Schiller. Identificando a urgência de uma educação para a sensibilidade capaz de abranger a própria razão, partimos do princípio de que o ensaio Poesia ingênua e sentimental é a síntese prática dos objetivos presentes em A educação estética do homem. Apresentamos nossa ideia demonstrando as influências artísticas, políticas e culturais de Schiller que permitem estabelecer a necessidade de uma estética que ultrapasse o âmbito teórico. Propomos que os impulsos sensível e formal fomentam nossa leitura quando deles se deduz um terceiro impulso, o lúdico, que se relaciona diretamente com o vivo impulso criador do poeta. Para demonstrarmos essa articulação fizemos um paralelo entre a missão do poeta na modernidade e da humanidade em geral. Por fim, apresentamos como o poeta sentimental e seu processo de criação reflete a busca pelo Ideal de beleza presentes na educação estética.The aim of this dissertation is to analyze the relation and the unfolding of the concepts of naive and sentimental with the proposal of an aesthetic education for humanity in Schiller. Identifying the urgency of an education for sensitivity capable of encompassing reason itself, we start from the principle that the essay On Naive and Sentimental Poetry is the practical synthesis of the objectives present in Aesthetic Education of Man. We present our idea by demonstrating Schiller's artistic, political and cultural influences that allow us to establish the need for an aesthetic that goes beyond the theoretical scope. We propose that the sensitive and formal impulses foster our reading when a third impulse, the ludic, is deduced from them, which is directly related to the poet´s living creative impulse. To demonstrate this articulation we have established a parallel between the poet's mission in modernity and humanity in general.
