Resumo: ABSTRACT This text deals with the quality benchmark in the National Education Plan and the National Basic Education Assessment System. The emphasis given monitoring and evaluation the PNE aims to discuss that the quality of education is not restricted to the score of the National Basic Education Assessment System results, but also consider the conditions of the contexts that guarantee the appropriation of students' knowledge. Noting the importance of this discussion during the period of the National Education (2014-2024) and the results of the National Basic Education Assessment System editions 2019 and 2021 released the period of the covid-19 pandemic when schools were forced operate without the presence of students, with remote classes and teachers in virtual environment.

El énfasis al seguimiento y evaluación en PNE tiene objetivo discutir la calidad de educación no se restringe solo al puntaje de los resultados del Sistema Nacional de Evaluación de Educación Básica, sino considerar las condiciones de los contextos que garantizan apropiación de conocimientos de  estudiantes. Tomando nota de la importancia esta discusión durante el período del Plan Nacional de Educación (2014-2024) y resultados de ediciones Sistema Nacional de Evaluación de Educación Básica 2019 y 2021 dados conocer en período de pandemia de covid-19 cuando las escuelas se vieron obligadas operar sin la presencia de los estudiantes, con clases distancia y profesores en entorno virtual.    Este texto trata do referencial de qualidade no Plano Nacional de Educação e do Sistema Nacional de Avaliação da Educação Básica. A ênfase dada ao monitoramento e à avaliação no PNE tem como objetivo discutir que qualidade de educação não se restringe apenas à pontuação dos resultados do Sistema Nacional de Avaliação da Educação Básica, mas em considerar as condições dos contextos que garantam apropriação do saber dos estudantes.
