Estilos de aprendizagem e performance acadêmica: Um estudo com discentes da graduação em Ciências Contábeis

Resumo: O objetivo da pesquisa de averiguar as principais características relacionadas aos estilos de aprendizagem e seus impactos no desempenho acadêmico. Em relação a metodologia, o estudo foi caracterizado com uma abordagem quantitativa, quanto ao objetivo, como descritiva e, quanto aos procedimentos esta foi classificada como de levantamento tipo survey, com a utilização de um questionário que continham o inventário de estilos de aprendizado de David Kolb. Diante disso, verifica-se que pequenas oscilações entre as médias de desemprenho acadêmico nos períodos do curso de ciências contábeis. Também se identificou que os estilos de aprendizagem predominastes entre os discentes são o assimilador e convergente. Por fim, constatou-se que os estilos de aprendizagem não influenciam o desempenho acadêmico obtido pelos estudantes.

Por fim, constatou-se que os estilos de aprendizagem não influenciam o desempenho acadêmico obtido pelos estudantes.Knowing that university courses must be managed with a high level of efficiency, this research is about Learning Styles and Academic Performance in the Accounting course at the Federal University of Paraíba, in order to ascertain the main characteristics related to learning styles and their impacts on academic performance. In terms of methodology, this study is quantitative and descriptive, with the application of a questionnaire and documentary research. David Kolb's inventory of learning styles was used as a data collection instrument. In view of this, it is verified that small oscillations between the averages of academic performance in the periods of the course of accounting sciences. It was also identified that the predominant learning styles among students are assimilator and convergent.
