Resumo: O afeto, presente no relacionamento entre professor e aluno, gera possibilidades de diálogos que contribuem para um melhor entendimento de como os educandos aprendem, refletem e agem, ou seja, favorecem o desenvolvimento de uma aprendizagem com significado, pois compreende-se que as crianças possuem suas individualidades e precisam ser reconhecidas. O presente trabalho tem por objetivo analisar a compreensão das professoras do ensino fundamental, anos iniciais, sobre a afetividade na relação entre professor/a e aluna/o. Como essa afetividade está sendo colocada em prática nos anos iniciais? A pesquisa de campo foi realizada com duas professoras de uma escola da rede privada e duas professoras de uma escola da rede pública. Adotamos, como base metodológica, a pesquisa bibliográfica e exploratória com abordagem qualitativa. Os dados foram coletados por meio de entrevistas estruturadas com as professoras do ensino fundamental anos iniciais. Utilizamos como base teórica os autores Wallon (1968), Piaget (1998), Vygotsky (1998), Paulo Freire (1996) por meio de um diálogo reflexivo sobre afetividade alicerçados nas teorias psicológicas e a educação. Os resultados evidenciaram que as professoras acreditam que uma educação afetiva é indispensável para um melhor desenvolvimento no processo de ensino e aprendizagem das crianças.

This work aims to analyze the understanding of elementary school teachers, early years, on the affectivity in the relationship between teacher and student. How is this affection being put into practice in the early years? Field research was carried out with two teachers from a private school and two teachers from a public school. We adopted, as a methodological basis, bibliographical and exploratory research with a qualitative approach. Data were collected through structured interviews with elementary school teachers in the early years. We use Wallon (1968), Piaget (1998), Vygotsky (1998), Paulo Freire (1996) as a theoretical basis through a reflective dialogue on affectivity based on psychological theories and education.
