Strategic Behavior According to the theory of Miles and Snow: A Case Study in an ISP in northern Rio Grande do Sul

Resumo: This article aims to analyze the strategic behavior of the company Tecnoway, taking as basis the theory of Miles and Snow. We performed a case study in the company whose approach is qualitative and descriptive in character. Data were collected through semi-structured interview with the founder and owner of the company are using the method of data categorization. The predominant type prospector and prevailed in recent years, being the cautious business investment and with an emphasis on professional management. It is concluded that the strategic behavior was adopted mainly from the feeling of the entrepreneur and that every difficulty was seen as a battle to be won on behalf of all stakeholders supporting the company searched.

Foi efetuado um estudo cuja abordagem é qualitativa e de caráter descritivo. Os dados foram coletados por meio de entrevista semiestruturada com o fundador e proprietário da empresa, sendo usado o método de categorização dos dados. Predominou a tipologia prospectora e, nos últimos anos, prevaleceu a perspectiva analista, sendo o empresário cauteloso nos investimentos e com ênfase na profissionalização da gestão.
