ChatGPT e IA generativa: tessituras iniciais sobre a administração e o conhecimento

The evolution of Artificial Intelligence, chatbots, and, consequently, ChatGPT has been promoting debates and reflections in various fields of knowledge, from onto-epistemological implications to ethical questions. This exploratory study aims to map the main characteristics that shape the studies on ChatGPT in the field of Administration science. This objective was divided into three specific goals: the first one is to reflect on the main characteristics that currently shape the studies on ChatGPT and Administration; the second is to filter relevant publications in the field on the topic, and finally, to identify the main studies that relate ChatGPT to the science of Administration. To achieve these goals, the authors searched for keywords in the Scopus and Web Of Science databases in May 2023, selected the blind document corpus with the help of the Rayyan software, and after selecting 32 articles, a bibliometric analysis was performed using the R software and its Bibliometrix extension. Based on the analysis, ChatGPT can be considered a promising tool in the field of Administration science as it can significantly impact both management practices and the way science is conducted. The emerging nature of the topic highlights a latent demand for a greater understanding of the tool and, consequently, the expansion of studies on this subject.
