Ordinary Management at the Caruaru Fair: an analysis based on the concepts of differences and intersectionality

Resumo: The general objective of the paper was to describe the ordinary management of the Caruaru-PE fair, in the light of the concepts of differences and intersections. The specific objectives were: to identify the ordinary management in the Caruaru-PE fair (Sulanca and Paraguay Fair); Identify the differences that constitute the ordinary management at the Caruaru-PE fair and identify intersectionalities that constitute the ordinary management at the Caruaru-PE fair. The methodology had a qualitative nature, and 50 semi-structured interviews were carried out with entrepreneurs of enterprises at the Caruaru-PE fair. Through the analysis of the results, it was possible to identify the invisibility of disabled, transgender and homosexual people at the fair, the existence of gender violence, the little access of black people to higher education, the little quantity of people who identify as black acting at fair and possible Difficulties experienced by elderly people to move in this space. In carrying out intersectional analysis on ordinary management, we realize emphasis on generational difference in terms of financial controls used; Emphasis on the School Training marker with regard to the forms of inventory organization carried out; Emphasis on the class and race marker for understanding of the context that takes the fairers to involve the family at work, informally.

Os objetivos específicos foram: identificar como acontece a gestão ordinária na feira de Caruaru-PE (Feira da Sulanca e do Paraguai); identificar as diferenças que constituem a gestão ordinária na Feira de Caruaru-PE e identificar as interseccionalidades desigualdade e agência interseccional que constituem a gestão ordinária na Feira de Caruaru-PE. A metodologia teve natureza qualitativa, e foram realizadas 50 entrevistas semiestruturadas aplicadas com proprietários(as) de empreendimentos na feira de Caruaru-PE. Por meio da análise dos resultados, foi possível identificar a invisibilidade de pessoas deficientes, transgênero e homossexuais na feira, a existência de violência de gênero, o pouco acesso das pessoas negras ao ensino superior, a pouca quantidade de pessoas negras atuantes na feira e possíveis dificuldades vivenciadas por pessoas idosas para se locomoverem neste espaço. Ao realizarmos análise interseccional sobre a gestão ordinária, percebemos ênfase na diferença geracional no que se refere às formas de controle financeiro utilizadas; ênfase no marcador formação escolar no que se refere às formas de organização de estoque realizadas; ênfase no marcador de classe e de raça para compreensão do contexto que leva os(as) feirantes a envolverem a família no trabalho, de modo informal.
