Satisfaction with the academic experience of high education students

Resumo: The present study had as goal to evaluate the higher education students’ satisfaction with the academic experience from the Business School at University of Brasília, by a comparative between entrants, middle-courses and graduates. Therefore, a hundred students from each group participated in the study, classified as quantitative and descriptive, with a survey conducted in person at the University of Brasília, totalling three hundred answered questionnaires. The results showed that graduating students are less satisfied with the academic experience than the middle-course students, which are less satisfied than the entrants. The obtained results must be considered and used by higher education institutions, serving as base to review issues related to students’ satisfaction, owing to possible improvements in the course itself, the creation of teaching and learning new strategies, and installations improvement.

Para tanto, cem alunos de cada etapa do curso participaram do estudo, de caráter quantitativo e descritivo, com coleta de dados realizada presencialmente na Universidade de Brasília, totalizando trezentos estudantes que responderam o questionário sobre satisfação. Os resultados encontrados evidenciam que os estudantes em fase de conclusão estão menos satisfeitos em comparação aos estudantes iniciantes e aqueles que se encontram no meio do curso.
