SCHOOL LIBRARY IN EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION: SYSTEMATIC LITERATURE REVIEW

Resumo: The aim of this article is to map national and international scientific productions on the School Library in Early Childhood Education produced between 1996 and 2021. In this article, a Systematic Literature Review was carried out in databases: Catalog of theses and dissertation CAPES; BRAPCI; CAPES journal portal; Web of Science; EBSCO; and SCOPUS. Articles, dissertations and theses were selected to compose the textual corpus of this review, totaling 27 publications. Literature indicates the intrinsic value of the School Library for children from an early age. The works found pointed to the potential of the School Library in the development of practices that favor reading and writing skills in Early Childhood Education, considering the concepts of literacy and literacy in early childhood. Another highlight found in the literature refers to the importance of the family for the success of activities carried out by the library, since their participation must be active and conscious in favor of the child's development.

En este artículo se realizó una Revisión Sistemática de la Literatura en las siguientes bases de datos: Catálogo de tesis y disertaciones de la CAPES; BRAPCI; portal de revistas CAPES; Web de la Ciencia; EBSCO; y SCOPUS. Se seleccionaron artículos, disertaciones y tesis para componer el corpus textual de esta revisión, resultando en 27 publicaciones. La literatura indica el valor intrínseco de la Biblioteca Escolar para los niños desde edades tempranas. Los trabajos encontrados apuntaron para el potencial de la Biblioteca Escolar en el desarrollo de prácticas que favorezcan las habilidades de lectura y escritura en la Educación Infantil, considerando los conceptos de lectoescritura y lectoescritura en la primera infancia. Otro destaque encontrado en la literatura se refiere a la importancia de la familia para el éxito de las actividades que realiza la biblioteca, su participación debe ser activa y consciente a favor del Desarrollo del niño.O objetivo deste artigo é mapear produções científicas, nacionais e internacionais, sobre a Biblioteca Escolar nas instituições de Educação Infantil produzidas entre os anos de 1996 e 2021. Neste artigo, se realizou uma Revisão Sistemática de Literatura nas seguintes bases de dados: Catálogo de teses e dissertação da CAPES; BRAPCI; Portal de periódicos da CAPES; Web of Science; EBSCO; e SCOPUS. Foram selecionados para compor o corpus textual desta revisão artigos, dissertações e teses que resultaram em 27 publicações. A Literatura indica o valor intrínseco da Biblioteca Escolar para a criança desde a mais tenra idade. Os trabalhos encontrados apontaram para as potencialidades da Biblioteca Escolar no desenvolvimento de práticas que favorecem as habilidades de leitura e escrita na Educação Infantil, considerando os conceitos de alfabetização e letramento na primeira infância.
