Research on teacher induction from the perspective of pedagogical coordinators: a map of the debate

Resumo: This text presents a mapping about the professional insertion and monitoring of the beginning teacher by the pedagogical coordinator, with emphasis on teaching induction practices. These support actions are pointed out by the literature as necessary in the early years of teaching, as they enable the development of the beginner, mitigating the challenges encountered in their initial journey. Thus, it is worth asking: what does the research say about professional teacher induction and its relationship with the pedagogical coordinator? Based on this central questioning, this paper aims to analyze recent research on the practices of teaching professional induction from the perspective of pedagogical coordinators. As a methodological procedure, the State of the Question (EQ) was used to carry out qualitative theoretical research, of a bibliographic nature, to map scientific productions related to the theme, observing various aspects such as theoretical framework, methodologies adopted and research results, in order to relate studies already produced with research still in progress.  Among the results, we highlight that research is concerned with the challenges and difficulties encountered by teachers at the beginning of their careers, as well as with the presentation of programs aimed at welcoming this teacher, in addition to the important role that the pedagogical coordinator plays in their socialization. The analysis of the productions showed the almost non-existence of works focused on research on induction in Brazil, especially when associated with the work of the pedagogical coordinator.

Estas acciones de apoyo son señaladas por la literatura como necesarias en los primeros años de enseñanza, ya que posibilitan el desarrollo del principiante, mitigando los desafíos encontrados en su trayecto inicial. Así, cabe preguntarse: ¿qué dice la investigación sobre la inducción profesional docente y su relación con el coordinador pedagógico? A partir de este cuestionamiento central, este artículo tiene como objetivo analizar investigaciones recientes sobre las prácticas de inducción profesional docente desde la perspectiva de los coordinadores pedagógicos. Como procedimiento metodológico, se utilizó el Estado de la Cuestión (EQ) para realizar una investigación teórica cualitativa, de carácter bibliográfico, para mapear las producciones científicas relacionadas con el tema, observando diversos aspectos como marco teórico, metodologías adoptadas y resultados de la investigación, con el fin de relacionar estudios ya producidos con investigaciones aún en curso. Entre los resultados, destacamos que la investigación se ocupa de los desafíos y dificultades encontrados por los docentes en el inicio de su carrera, así como de la presentación de programas destinados a la acogida de este docente, además del importante papel que juega el coordinador pedagógico en su socialización. El análisis de las producciones mostró la casi inexistencia de trabajos enfocados en investigaciones sobre inducción en Brasil, especialmente cuando se asocian al trabajo del coordinador pedagógico.  Este texto apresenta um mapeamento acerca da inserção profissional e do acompanhamento do professor iniciante pelo coordenador pedagógico, com ênfase nas práticas de indução docente. Essas ações de apoio são apontadas pela literatura como necessárias nos primeiros anos da docência, pois possibilitam o desenvolvimento do iniciante, abrandando os desafios encontrados no seu caminhar inicial. Assim, cabe indagarmos: o que dizem as pesquisas sobre a indução profissional docente e sua relação com o coordenador pedagógico? Com suporte nesse questionamento central, este escrito objetiva analisar as pesquisas recentes sobre as práticas de indução profissional docente na perspectiva de coordenadores pedagógicos. Como procedimento metodológico, utilizamos o Estado da Questão (EQ) para a realização de investigação teórico-qualitativa, de caráter bibliográfico para mapear produções científicas relacionadas à temática, observando diversos aspectos como referencial teórico, metodologias adotadas e resultados das pesquisas a fim de relacionar estudos já produzidos com pesquisas ainda em andamento.  Entre os resultados, destacamos que as pesquisas preocupam-se com os desafios e dificuldades encontrados pelo professor em início de carreira, como também para a apresentação de programas voltados para o acolhimento desse docente, além do papel importante que o coordenador pedagógico ocupa na sua socialização.
